The main manifestation is the peroneal muscle spasm, foot valgus/abduction and dorsiflexion, fallen foot arch. The pain will increase, walking and standing can not be sustained for a long time, pain can not be completely alleviated after the break. Medi-Rehatek will introduce the flat foot classification. Flat foot, is also known as pes planus, refers to the normal longitudinal arch of foot is lost. According to patient’s feeling, it can be divided into three categories, postural flat foot, spastic flat foot and ankylosing flat foot. 1.Postural flat foot At the initial stage of the disease, there is no abnormal arch appearance. People just stand and walk too long, they will have the sense of foot fatigue, soreness, sole of foot edema and dorsal foot edema. Generally the symptom will completely disappearafter the break. We can apply conservative treatment in general. 2.Spastic flat foot It is developed from postural flat foot in the middle phase of flat foot. The main manifestation is the peroneal muscle spasm, foot valgus/abduction and dorsiflexion, fallen foot arch. The pain will increase, walking and standing can not be sustained for a long time, pain can not be completely alleviated after the break. The severe patient can choose orthopedic surgery. 3.Ankylosing flat foot It is generated from improper handling two types of flat feet above in t he later phase.Convulsive peroneal muscle becomes ankylosis, interosseous ligament is also ankylosis, which make foot fixed in the valgus, abduction and dorsiflexion position. And foot arch disappears. Walking and standing have difficulties, but pain is reduced. But due to the loss of normal function of the foot, foot can not absorb the shock force, there may lead to knee and lower limb arthritis and pain. If patients feel painless, we just focus on observation. If patients feel pain and they need triple arthrodesis.
